FOOD & BEV TRENDS REPORT
The 16th Annual Food Trends Report challenged me to create a cohesive visual system that worked across print, digital, and social while exploring AI-generated content. The system was built on vibrant colors, clean Swiss-inspired layouts, and provocative photography treated with a punchy red-and-pink duotone. The goal was to amplify culture-cutting trends with visuals that demanded attention while maintaining editorial clarity across every touchpoint.
PRESENTATION & EDITORIAL DESIGN
I wanted the presentation and printed report to feel like two expressions of the same system. Both use the same grid, layouts, and typographic principles. I only adjusted the placement, scale, and hierarchy of certain elements to suit the different formats and ensure legibility and clarity across mediums. DOWNLOAD THE FULL REPORT HERE
I adapted the core visual language into a series of modular, image-led social assets. Each post functioned as a concise ‘visual bite,’ using provocative photography and punchy headlines to stop the scroll while teasing key trends. This social extension of the Food Trends Report became a Playground for high-impact visual storytelling, all while maintaining the sophisticated aesthetic of the primary report
EXPERIMENTATION WITH AI
The flip book served as a strategic teaser for the Food Trends Report. It presented the perfect opportunity to experiment with AI-generated content and explore how emerging tools could be meaningfully integrated into my design-driven workflow without compromising craft or editorial intent.
